The Riveria, at 98th Street and Kedzie Avenue, looks like a million other apartment buildings of its era. Except its traditionalist peaked roof is undermined by that abstraction -- half constructivist, half Mondrian -- applied on all sides. The glass-brick tower is a nice Bauhausy addition to this monument of eclecticism. |
