The National Mall in Washington, D.C., home to numerous Smithsonian museums and national monuments,
tends to get lined with food trucks on peak tourist days. Although photographic images are slowly
overtaking hand-painted renderings of featured products, the lines of trucks still offer a vibrant
visual experience. A good number of paintings also survive, including the extra folky one at the top
of this page. Please note too the excellent calligraphy on some of the other images.
